Cole turns 6!

It's hard for me to believe this little guy is 6. I truly don't know where the time went and I can't believe how much he is changing. He's adjusted to Kindergarten and doing really well. They are long days for him (8:15 am- 3:00pm), so he is pretty tired once he gets home, but he is learning so much and we are so proud of him. My dad flew up from San Diego, on the 22nd and spent the week with us. Unfortunately, he was in a lot of pain with his back, so we didn't get to go out and "do" very much, but we did get to spend a lot of quality time with him, which was really nice for all of us. Cole ended up not feeling well on his birthday, he had a fever the night before and just didn't feel well, so we decided to keep him home from school (the first day he missed for the year), and he hung out at home with Grandpa and they built the lego sets that he and Grandma Carolyn had given to him on his birthday. We celebrated his birthday the next day, when he was feeling better. I made treats for his class and Grandpa got to come along with me to meet his teacher and his classmates and of course to sing, Happy Birthday! We had his birthday party on November 4th, so stay tuned for those pictures!
